Slow Food & Slow Travel at Fire this Monday!

Please join us on Monday, June 21st for an evening of Slow Food and slow travel. Slow Food member, Chef Douglas Katz will host a fundraising dinner for Slow Food Northern Ohio at his Shaker Square restaurant, Fire Food and Drink.

Doug will also present information about an amazing journey he will be leading to the home of Slow Food in Italy October 19-26 where he will guide travelers through Slow Food’s biennial Salone del Gusto, experience a truffle hunt, taste wine in Barolo and much more. Doug’s experience as a delegate to Slow Food's Terra Madre event in 2006 in Turin, Italy forever transformed him as a chef. Meeting small farmers and food artisans revealed the deeply nourishing impact that a local food culture can have on our community.

We hope you can be with us for this very special evening!

For reservations, please call amanda at 216.921.3473 x148.

Make sure yo bring your picnic blanket or folding chairs, because after the tour we'll have the opportunity to purchase lunch from the Dim & Den Sum food truck! Lunches will cost between $8-10, please bring cash. You'll be able to relax and enjoy the farm, while eating fabulous food!
