The Rules, Regulations and Labeling of Cottage Foods and Preserves

May 26, 2011, 6-8pm


Join Reimagining Cleveland urban agriculturalists and the general public for a workshop on how to responsibly process and sell edible goods! Pam Cross, inspector for the Cleveland Department of Public Health, will discuss the rules, regulations and labeling requirements for anyone interested in selling cottage foods (pies, breads, granola, etc.), jams and jellies, teas and herbs and more! Also, local farmer's market vendors will make up a panel of experienced sellers willing to answer any questions on how they got started in their local enterprises!

Light refreshments will be provided! Free event!

French Cheese & Wine Tasting at l'Albatros
